FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) Prep by Mako Freight & Logistics
FBA Prep stands for Fulfillment by Amazon Prep. It refers to the process of preparing products for shipment to Amazon’s fulfillment centers as part of the FBA program, ensuring they meet Amazon’s specific packaging and labeling requirements.
This includes tasks like packaging, labeling, and bundling items to comply with Amazon’s guidelines.
On Monday July 28th 2025 Amazon informed sellers it would stop offering prep services altogether beginning January 1, 2026.
Why is FBA Prep important?
Proper preparation ensures products are received by Amazon without delays, reduces the risk of damage, and helps sellers avoid penalties or rejections by Amazon.
Mako Freight & Logistics offers FBA Prep services to help sellers handle these tasks, allowing them to focus on other aspects of their business, such as Sales and Marketing.
